It is a pleasure to present you this year’s speakers.
We have a Keynote Speaker for the first evening and four speakers for the morning of the second day who will make sure that you can dive into the topic of entrepreneurship before you start solving your challenges with your groups.
Here they are:
April 22nd, Keynote: You can’t be too young to be a successful entrepreneur
Joachim Schoss, born 1963.
After earning a degree in business administration in Hamburg and gaining several years of experience as a management consultant, in 1990 Joachim Schoss founded his own consultancy, which he sold in 1996 and which is now part of KPMG. During that same period, he launched a call centre in Wilhelmshaven in 1993. Its sale to the US market leader in 1997, involving 350 employees, was also very successful.
In 1998, he founded ImmobilienScout24 as the start-up’s largest shareholder, as well as Scout24 AG, where he was the first CEO and largest private investor.
A serious traffic accident in late 2002 led to him relinquishing operational management responsibilities and to the sale of Scout24 to Deutsche Telekom.
Schoss subsequently founded the charitable foundation MyHandicap and became a member of various supervisory and governing boards. He was or is an angel investor of several start-ups like Moneybookers, ResearchGate, bettermarks, Bankhaus Herzogpark and 1plusX.
At HSG, he initiated the Center for Disability and Integration, and also teaches entrepreneurship since 2013.
